WARRANTY
WARRANTY
No warranty coverage for all weather damage or on retractable awnings and screens.
Unforeseen work is billable.
No refunds on materials ordered. Install timeframe to change due to availability of materials, delay on projects already on schedule, injury or sickness to crew, or weather.
Payment is due at completion of patio.
Three-year warranty on workmanship, two-year warranty on water leaks.
Customer is responsible to maintain and clean out the gutter and downspout as needed to avoid water damage or leaks.
Gutters and downspout to be cleaned by customer prior to start of any warranty work.
Solara warranty work is billable and to be paid upon completion.
Customer will need to show original work order receipt for warranty work or work is billable.
Severe Weather & Wind:
The fabric warranty does not cover physical damage
caused by severe storms, high winds, or failure to retract
the awning during dangerous weather. Retractable
awnings must be rolled in during heavy winds or storms
to prevent frame and fabric destruction.
Standing Water & Snow:
Pooling water, ice, or heavy snow accumulations can
bend frames or stretch fabric, which is excluded from
coverage. Awnings are meant for shade and light
showers, not severe winter weather.
Frame vs. Fabric:
Keep in mind that the10-year warranty applies strictly
to the Sunbrella fabric. The retractable awning’s metal
frame, motorized components, and mechanical arms are
covered separately by the specific awning manufacturer
(such as SunSetter, Eclipse, or Polar Shades), which
typically offer distinct 5-year to lifetime limited warranties
for hardware.
